"Myia", is a Philadelphia-based State-Certified Birth Doula and Certified Community & Perinatal Health Worker specializing in community-driven perinatal support for urban families. As the founder of Sincere Inspiration Doula Services LLC, she delivers culturally grounded, evidence-based doula care designed to reduce disparities, strengthen birth confidence, and expand access to respectful maternity support.
Our Big Sis, provides advocacy in clinical settings, comfort measures, postpartum planning, breastfeeding education, and practical navigation to community resources. Her approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and rooted in the realities of urban living—meeting families with compassion, clarity, and a plan.
Myia, also supports clients and programs addressing SUD/AUD/OUD and recovery-related needs, helping families stay connected to care, building stability, removing the stigmas of judgement amongst her peers of service. From partnerships from within community organizations, recovery programs, and healthcare teams, this queen bridges gaps in care and strengthen continuity for birthing families, foster families, and underserved communities.
Her mission is simple: ensure every family—especially Black, brown and Latio families—has a knowledgeable advocate, a steady voice in the room, and culturally aligned support from pregnancy through postpartum.
My voice matters too.

I have come to value and find deep fulfillment in this work through the many branches of human connection and social exchange within the broader healthcare community. In my recent practice, I have been privileged to walk alongside families impacted by the reproductive injustices that contribute to maternal morbidity and mortality within BIPOC communities, as well as to support individuals navigating substance use disorders. My work has included providing resources and guidance to women of childbearing age and their partners, ensuring they feel seen, supported, and empowered.
I have been honored to serve families from all walks of life—from those with immense financial means to those with very limited resources. Through these experiences, one truth has remained constant: health and well-being outweigh monetary value. Each life, each story, and each journey deserves respect, compassion, and dignity.
Advocacy Statement
Maternal health in the United States remains in crisis, with BIPOC families disproportionately impacted by reproductive injustice, maternal morbidity, and mortality. As a full-spectrum, state-certified doula, I advocate for systemic change by providing culturally rooted, trauma-informed care that prioritizes dignity, equity, and compassion. Our work not only saves lives but also builds stronger families and healthier communities—because every person deserves access to safe, respectful, and holistic care, regardless of income or circumstance.
